Heather DeVine
Heather DeVine has always been a creator since she could hold a crayon. As a child she used to sit for hours alone creating, drawing, and playing make believe. Not much has changed.
This book first began as an imaginary book she told her 4 year old (at the time). Her son, Elliott imagined these two characters as she spoke them into existence. Years passed and the story kept pestering her until finally Heather drew, painted, refined the storyline, and the slugs came to life.
Her hope is these two characters help ignite endless imagination for families for generations to come.
Heather wears many hats in her life, as a mother, wife, community leader, and volunteer. She loves amplify storytelling with her clients she works with through her marketing group, Transcend Ideas. Her heart reside in the work she believes in through People Spread Love, a non-profit that puts empathy first.
